Better With Gold is a lightweight expansion mod that gives gold the value and utility it always deserved. Instead of being just shiny, now it’s powerful, versatile, and worth collecting.

Craft new gold-based armors, tools, and special items with unique traits that set them apart from vanilla gear. Perfect for solo worlds, multiplayer, or modpacks.

Gold Upgrade Templates

Use a Smithing Table to apply Gold Upgrade Templates, unlocking special properties for gold gear:

Add enchantment-like effects without XP
Combine materials to evolve your tools
Transform basic gold gear into specialized equipment

Templates can be obtained by:
- Crafting (7 Gold Ingots + 1 Amethyst + 1 Obsidian)
- Looting dungeon/temple/vault chests
- Trading with specialized villagers

New Weapons

All weapons include both normal and reinforced variants.

Golden Scythe

Executes AOE sweeping attacks
Great for crowd clearing

Great Axe

Deals more damage the lower your enemy’s health is
A brutal execution weapon

Impact Blade

Damage increases based on fall distance
Jump attacks hit extremely hard

New Food Item – Golden Fish

Grants powerful effects when eaten:

Water Breathing
Regeneration
Dolphin’s Grace
